Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

A double stroller will be vital if you are expecting twins or have two children who are similar in age. The best ones provide multiple ways for your kids to ride such as side-by-side seating, and an attachment for a rider board.

Strategist writer Lauren Ro's favorite is the Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono, which is easily adapted as your family grows. It can be used with two infant car seats as well as a toddler seat. This makes it a great option for twins.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the most suitable twin stroller for families that want a stylish double side-by-side stroller. It's a bit bigger than other Bugaboo strollers, but it feels solid and built to last. It has a handlebar that is adjustable that retracts and extends easily. It also has a great reach, so it is easy for my 6'1 husband to push, even when loaded.

Seats are comfortable and can be positioned so that one child sits behind another or so that children are facing each other. They can also recline in a different way from one another. The canopies cover both fabric seats, if desired. However, they don't provide much ventilation so they can appear like a small oven on hot days. There is no peek-a-boo to look at your children.

This stroller features an exclusive feature that lets it expand with your family. It can be converted from one seat (Mono Mode) to a double side-by-side stroller. It is the only convertible double stroller that can do this! It can also be used in conjunction with a second car seat or bassinet for newborns.

It is easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces and can handle slopes and steps with ease. It isn't easy to maneuver around busy restaurants and shops.  double pram stroller  can also be difficult to fold, especially when seats are tucked away. It's still small and can be accessed through the majority of doors.

There is an additional storage bin that fits on the frame next to the front seat in mono mode. This is ideal for groceries and other things. The main storage basket beneath the seats is huge and can hold up to 100 lbs that is more than any other stroller on this list!

Uppababy Vista v2

This is one of the most popular twin strollers for newly borns. It can be used right out of box as a double stroller, and is compatible with a variety of infant car seats and bassets. The Vista Upper and Vista Lower adapters allow you to use two infant car seats simultaneously.

Comparatively to the first Vista, the V2 has added a few enhancements to make it better. The toddler seat is a half-inch higher, the footrest has more space and the canopy comes with an extender for the fabric that zips out, which gives extra coverage. The harness has also been modernized since it doesn't require re-threading. This makes it easier to adjust.

The stroller comes with big wheels (8" in front and 11.5" in back) and a strong suspension system that can handle any terrain. The rubber wheels on the front are great for navigating gravel and rocks and the tread on the rear wheels is better for sidewalks or grassy hills.

Another excellent feature is the possibility to attach a child's bike to the front of the stroller, which is an ideal option for parents who don't want to use an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. If you have a child old enough to stand and walk, the Vista stroller can fit another child in with its piggyback board accessory.

Vista is Vista is easy to use and set up, though it does take some time to unpack all of the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow and there is also an YouTube video available should you require further assistance.

Thule Urban Glide 3

The Thule Urban Glide 3 is the newest version of this popular stroller that is designed to attract modern families that are a fan of style, sustainability, and adventure. It's got exciting new features including a built-in feet rest and a reclined seat, which offers the best comfort for children on long walks and jogs. Its sleek, agile design increases its maneuverability.

It is extremely light, making it simple to drive and swift to accelerate on the open road. Its suspension is able to handle sudden changes in surfaces (like grass to pavement) effortlessly, and the oversized wheels provide plenty of traction on even the most difficult terrains. It is able to climb kerbs with no difficulty, and it can maneuver in tight spaces like city streets with ease. Even narrow sidewalks and parks with lots of people are no problem.

The new Urban Glide 3 is a superior jogger that offers parents a great deal of comfort and ease. This includes an oversized canopy that provides excellent sun protection and a convenient peekaboo window, an extremely high-quality harness system and a handbrake integrated with a perfectly in-tuned lever. It offers plenty of storage space, including pockets inside the seat and a massive cargo bag that can hold up to 15 pounds.

This Thule Jogger also has bassinets, ideal for strolling babies, and a double version that can accommodate two kids. It accepts car seat adapters so that you can use your child's infant carrier, and it features a simple one-handed fold to make it easy to carry or put away. It also comes in a green option with solutions-dyed fabrics with black hues to cut down on water consumption.

Cortina Together

For the growing family, Cortina Together offers parents flexible seating options that let them adjust to the individual needs of each child and preferences. The two seats in the double stroller have reclined backrests and canopies that are separate. The seats are also designed to accommodate Chicco's KeyFit or KeyFit 30, the top rated infant car seat, in both the front and rear seat. (Car seat sold separately).

A large, zipper-access basket at the rear provides ample storage space for your equipment. The handle is cushioned to fit dad or mom. The tandem double stroller's suspension and wheels provide a smooth ride over all types of terrain, while the 1-touch linked rear brakes with toe-tap activation makes stopping a breeze.

In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high scores for its ease of use. This metric is based on how easy it is to fold and set up the stroller. It also reflects how easy it is to open and close the snack trays and engage and disengage the brakes, raise the stroller that is folded and carry it like the trunk of a car.

We did find some drawbacks to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs in at 36.6 pounds when fully loaded, which is closer to the extreme end of our metric than the average for this class of strollers. It also has limited visibility when a car seat is mounted in the back. Lastly the front tray release is sometimes difficult to operate, especially after prolonged use. However, despite these issues, we believe that this is an excellent stroller for your family.

Jeep Double Stroller

The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is a lightweight, affordable stroller that's perfect for families with two kids. Its front swivel lock wheels can be rotated to allow ease of maneuvering on flat surfaces, and lock to provide stability on bumpy surfaces. It has a compact folding umbrella that can be closed in just a few seconds. It also stands upright to make transporting it simpler. Its lightweight aluminum frame, foam handles and straps for carrying make it one of the most easy-to-lift double strollers we tested.

This stroller has reclined seats that can be independently adjusted and foot rests to ensure the best comfort for both children. The canopy is large enough to offer UPF 50 sun protection, and it has a peekaboo window that allows for easy monitoring. We would like to see the canopy vented for extra airflow, though. We also didn't like that the cup holder is extremely high on the frame, which means you'll need to bend down to reach it.

In our tipping test, the Jeep fell over with only a 39-degree angle which is a bit higher than the average for a double stroller. It's heavier than the average, but offers more storage space for the price. The seats and handle are also well-padded.

This stroller can be used in three modes that include wagon (just to store things) and the jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses designed for children) and car seat mode. It can fit a single car seat for infants. However, pediatricians recommend that you wait until your child is six months old to run with them. It's black and has a limited lifetime warranty.
